SEPTEMBER 21, 2010

We are excited and proud to announce that on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010 Shaunda Hill, Deborah Hill and I, Wanda Jackson were at the Compton City's Council Meeting, and Mayor Eric J. Perrodin presented Kevin's Cause with a Suicide Awareness Proclamation.

In July the City of Carson also presented us with a Proclamation.

I thank Carson and Compton for recognizing that Suicide in the US is a Public Health Epidemic that needs to be addressed in all communities. Suicide does not discriminate!

Kevin's Cause is planning on getting proclamations in the surrounding communities!

We are excited and proud to announce that on July 24th 2010, Councilman Mike Gipson presented Kevin's Cause with a Suicide Awareness Proclamation, on behalf of Mayor Jim Dear, and the Council for the City of Carson, State of California.
